WHAT TO EXPECT

Before your first visit:

Finding a Naturopathic Doctor that can be right for you can be a bit like finding a hairdresser. Everyone has their own individual needs and expectations. To ensure that your personal needs and expectations are in line with Dr. Cundari, it can be beneficial to book a free 15 minute meet and greet before your initial appointment so that you can get a sense of what her style is and to see if she can meet your expectations.

Once you book your initial visit, you will be emailed an online intake form and you are asked to fill it out before you come in. There are a lot of questions, but it allows Dr. Cundari to get an in depth overview of what your goals are and allows her to get a quick background on you before you begin the initial visit. Dr. Cundari also requests that if you are currently taking any supplements – to please bring in the labels or take pictures of them so she can see what you are taking. Also, bringing in any current lab work can be helpful.

Your first visit:

Your first initial visit will be 60 minutes in length. This will allow Dr. Cundari enough time to collect pertinent information about your current health concerns.  In this first visit, Dr. Cundari will discuss your health concerns and goals, and will take a full medical history along with any focused physical exams that may be needed. Pertinent lab testing will also be discussed at this time. Following your first appointment with Dr. Cundari, she will develop a personalized treatment plan for you in line with what your goals are. Her goal is to make it a plan that is reasonable and attainable for you to follow in the context of your current lifestyle. This treatment plan may include diet & lifestyle counselling, vitamins & supplements, acupuncture, botanical medicine, or other treatments. Follow-up schedules will be discussed.

Return visits:

Frequency of return visits is dependent on the individualized treatment plan and will differ depending on the conditions being treated. This will be discussed in the initial visit.
